guide 02 — websites, no jargon

A good website goes unnoticed. A bad one scares people off.

Why safe, fast and comfortable matters, what this «AI» thing actually is (no smoke) and how you get Google to show you. Explained like I'd tell a neighbour.

01

Your shop, even while you sleep

Your website decides for you when you're not there: at 11:30 pm, from a sofa, someone with a toothache or fancying new glasses is silently judging you.

It doesn't need to be spectacular. It needs to inspire trust and stay out of the way.

02

Safe: trust isn't declared, it's felt

The little lock next to your address means whatever your people type travels protected. If it's missing, the browser warns «not secure» — and part of your visitors leave without telling you why.

Here, websites ship with the lock in place, honest legal notices and your people's data treated like our own. Because to your customers, it's theirs.

03

Fast: nobody waits

People don't like waiting even if they never say it: a few seconds staring at a blank screen and many visitors go back and pick the next one on the list.

Google publicly scores websites with a free tool anyone can use. The one you're reading scores top marks for speed. And you don't have to believe me: open it, paste the address in and measure it yourself — it takes a minute.

04

No friction: don't make your customers work

Every extra step costs people. If booking an appointment means signing up, downloading an app or filling in twelve fields, part of your customers decide they'll «do it later» — and later becomes never.

That's why on this site asking for a quote takes three clicks and lands you in my WhatsApp, and the studio's websites keep the phone number in sight and the forms short. The best website is the one that gives no work.

05

AI, without the smoke

People talk about AI as if it were magic or a robot in charge. It's neither: it's a tool — like the printer or the digital diary once were — and here we use it for three concrete things.

  • Drafting texts and videos that you always review: nothing goes out without your okay.
  • Clearing repetitive tasks, so your budget goes further.
  • Leaving a digital employee answering questions at any hour, Sunday night included.
06

Getting found on Google

Anyone searching «psychologist in Gràcia» or «bathroom renovation in Girona» clicks at the top. There's no everlasting trick to be there: it's a fast site (chapter 03), safe (02) and clear about what you offer and where — your trade and your area, well written.

And well-tended reviews. It's months of work, not minutes — and it works precisely because nobody can fake it in a day.

No strings attached and no weird sales call: you write, I (Gerard) answer, and if it doesn't fit I'll tell you just as plainly.
